Starting March 11, 2024, the price of a Ring Protect Basic subscription is £4.99 a month or £49.99 a year, depending on whether you pay for your subscription monthly or annually. For new and existing Ring Protect Basic subscribers, the new price applies on your first renewal date after March 11, 2024.

What if my Ring Protect Basic subscription renewed before March 11?
If your subscription renewed before March 11, 2024, you will have been charged the previous price of £3.49 a month or £34.99 a year.
What if my Ring Protect Basic subscription renewed on March 11 or will renew after March 11?
On the next renewal date after March 11, 2024, you will be charged £4.99 a month or £49.99 a year.
Will my subscription renewal date change to March 11?
No, your renewal date will remain the same as before.
What happens to my videos if I cancel my subscription?
When you cancel a Ring Protect subscription, you will no longer be able to save, review and share video recordings from your Ring devices to your Ring account. All of your recorded videos will be permanently deleted from the Ring cloud. To save any videos, you must download them before cancelling your Ring Protect plan.
What if I am on a Ring Protect trial when the price changes?
If you subscribe to Ring Protect Basic during your free trial, you will be billed for your paid subscription the day after your trial ends. If you did not subscribe to a paid Basic plan by March 10th, 2024, your Basic subscription price will be £4.99/month or £49.99/year. All renewals occurring on or after March 11, 2024 will be at the new price.
Did prices change for other Ring Protect subscriptions?
No. The price increase does not apply to Ring Protect Plus, which provides video recording for all Video Doorbells and Security Cameras in your entire home and Assisted Monitoring for Ring Alarm. You can upgrade to Ring Protect Plus on Ring.com. Compare Ring Protect plans.

Will I get a refund for my subscription if I cancel?
You can choose to cancel now or at the end of your subscription period. If you cancel before your renewal date, you may be eligible for a prorated refund. Learn more.
